Design details

The Selket Noctura hat is a spectacular wide-brimmed piece made entirely by hand, whose theatrical scale frames the silhouette like a solar eclipse.

Woven in deep black, its surface is studded with shimmering beaded embroidery, evoking a night sky scattered with stars. Every detail adds to the celestial dimension of the piece, while the subtle veil and monumental cut conceal the face, creating a play of revealing and concealing.

Paired with a richly ornamented corset and dark feathers, it creates the allure of a nocturnal goddess: mystical, sensual and sovereign.

The story behind the name

The story behind the name

Selket is another form of Selkis, the Egyptian goddess associated with the scorpion and protection. “Noctura” poetically evokes night. The black brim, beaded embroidery and veil connect that name with a presence revealed on one’s own terms: choosing both mystery and radiance.
