Preparation and production

In-stock items are prepared within 3 to 5 business days after payment confirmation. For items that are out of stock but available to order, production and preparation take 7 to 10 business days before dispatch. Transit time is additional.

Transit times

After dispatch, transit usually takes 1 to 5 working days within mainland France, 3 to 10 working days within the European Union and 5 to 20 working days internationally. These times are additional to preparation and, where applicable, production. The delivery date or period agreed when ordering is the reference.

Destinations and charges

Available destinations and methods are offered at checkout. Applicable charges are shown before final order confirmation.

  • Mainland France: standard delivery costs €8.80 for items other than printed books, and is free from a cart total of €250. Books count towards this threshold.
  • Printed books within France: the current shipping charge is €3 per order, regardless of the number of books. In a mixed cart, this charge is added to the shipping charges for other items; it remains payable when the cart reaches €250 and shipping for other items is free.
  • European Union: €22.
  • International: €29, to destinations offered at checkout, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Outside France, shipping charges for books and other items may be combined in a mixed cart. The total is displayed before payment. Gift cards and e-books sent by email have no shipping charges.

Tracking and address

Where tracking is available, it is emailed after dispatch. Check your address before confirming the order and contact us promptly if a correction is needed. Any reshipping charge resulting from an incorrect address is explained before you agree.

Receipt and guarantees

On receipt, check the parcel and items. Report errors or damage to contact@hindkroussa.com, with photographs where possible. This procedure does not restrict your statutory guarantees. For a carrier offered by the Maison, risk transfers when you, or a third party you designate, take physical possession of the products.

Late or missing delivery

If the agreed period is exceeded, contact us so we can follow up with the carrier. Your statutory rights remain applicable: you may require delivery within a reasonable additional period, then cancel the contract if delivery does not occur. Immediate cancellation is possible where provided by law, including refusal to deliver or where the agreed date was an essential condition. If the contract is cancelled for failure to deliver, payments are refunded within 14 days.

Customs and international delivery

Outside the European Union, authorities or the carrier may request customs duties, import taxes or local charges. You pay these where they are not already included in the total paid; the Maison does not charge them a second time. Customs formalities may extend transit times.

Force majeure

The Maison’s liability is assessed in accordance with applicable legal rules on force majeure.

Returns

For eligible purchases, you have 15 days to notify us of withdrawal, followed by 14 days to send the items back. Creations made to your specifications or clearly personalised cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded for a change of mind. Statutory guarantees remain applicable.
