The story behind the name

The story behind the name

Ishtar is an ancient Mesopotamian goddess of love and war. “Noctis”, from the Latin word for night, means “of the night”. The black hat and beaded embroidery offer a nocturnal reading of softness and strength, reflecting the Maison’s vision of a woman embracing her many facets.
