Design details
The Nekhbet Cavalia hat is a haute couture piece that reinvents the idea of the ancient crown through contemporary architecture.
Its wide base with a structured brim, enhanced by a black-and-white check motif, evokes the rhythm and cadence of a galloping horse – a subtle nod to equestrian nobility and energy.
The upper section, delicately draped in translucent white voile, rises like protective wings, recalling the wingspan of the goddess Nekhbet. This interplay of light layers creates an airy volume, at once sculptural and ethereal, that catches the light and accentuates movement.
At the back, a turquoise ornamental detail can be glimpsed, a nod to Egyptian protective amulets, combining mystical power and refinement.
The piece embodies a balance between strength and delicacy:
• Strength, through the imposing, geometric structure that evokes the chariot and the majesty of royal processions.
• Delicacy, through the transparency and lightness of the fabric, which soften the silhouette and breathe in a divine aura.
To wear Nekhbet Cavalia is to don a contemporary crown, a signature piece that turns every appearance into a sacred ritual, between sovereign power and timeless grace.

The story behind the name
The story behind the name
Nekhbet is the protective goddess of Upper Egypt, often depicted as a vulture with outspread wings. “Cavalia” adds an equestrian association. The hat’s checks and rising veil bring these images of wings and movement together, expressing the Maison’s vision of a woman advancing with confidence.
