What Is Brushed Cotton?
Also known as cotton flannel, brushed cotton stands out for its ability to retain warmth while remaining breathable. Its origins date back to 18th-century Wales, where flannel was originally made from brushed wool for the making of kilts.
Today, cotton has taken over to offer a lighter, more versatile version. It is this historic authenticity that we wished to reinterpret in our creations.

Care Advice
Brushed cotton is a hard-wearing material, but it needs a little attention to preserve its downy finish:
- Machine wash at 40°C maximum.
- Using fabric softener is recommended to prolong the softness of the fabric.
- Do not tumble dry: let it dry naturally in the open air.
- Important: never machine wash your brushed cotton pieces with denim, to prevent pilling.
